Impress your way to selling your property with these home-showing tips.

Real estate showings are an important part of the process of home buying. So, for today, I want to give you some tips for effectively showing a home to your buyers and making your way into selling your property.

1. Pre-fill in your addresses and know the area. Exploring the location where your property is will give you a good idea of what buyers are expecting and help you navigate the area smoothly.

2. Park in a good location. Avoid blocking the driveways and ensure safety for both you and the buyers.

3. Have your supra access ready. Be prepared with your access tools, such as a digital lockbox app or a super key. Make sure that they are updated and logged in ahead of time to avoid any complications during the showing. One of the ways that you can familiarize yourself with these tools is to practice at your house (or a friend’s house) and watch some training videos so you don’t fumble during the showing.

4. Turn on all the lights. One of the best things that you can do once you’re inside the house is to walk into each room and turn on the lights. It might cost you a little bit of electricity, but it creates a well-lit and inviting atmosphere for buyers, making a great first impression. 5. Follow the buyers around. It is ideal that you stay a foot behind your buyers and within earshot, where you can see them and hear them when they have questions. This allows you to see that they are not doing anything that will damage the property. At the same time, let them roam around the property and absorb the surroundings. You can also ask them questions about what they like and don’t like but give them the freedom to explore, allowing them to form their own opinions and preferences about the property.

Showing a home effectively requires preparation, attention to detail, and good communication skills. By following these tips, you can create a positive and memorable showing experience, increasing your chances of selling your property.
