Whether it’s a relationship with a family member, friend, or potential client, creating and maintaining good relationships requires rapport. We are all guilty sometimes of spewing on prospects and telling them how good we are, how many homes we sell, why we’re the best, etc.
The problem with doing this is that we’re not building rapport. A lot of times we’re stubborn and just trying to change people’s minds. Prospects pick up on this.
“A man’s mind convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.” Think about that. Are you trying to get someone to change their mind against their will? If you are, consider changing your approach. The best way to build rapport is to get them to the right conclusion. They will come to this conclusion themselves if you ask the right questions.
If you have any questions for me about building rapport, shoot me a note, and I’ll be happy to talk to you one on one. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to reach out via phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
