In episode 72 of “Cliffs Notes,” we’re joined by Richard Wallace III. He has turned some very difficult times into becoming a rising superstar on our team. Richard worked as a part-time janitor from the ages of 13 to 18 and obtained his GED from Cedar Valley in 2011. Richard had multiple jobs in sales and with financial institutions, including his most recent with GM Financial before joining eXp Realty and The Cliff Freeman Group. He has an amazing story, and I’m so grateful that he joined us to share it.
Richard obtained his real estate license when he was 21, but at the time he was unfocused and trying a bunch of different things in order to build wealth. He had “shiny object syndrome” and was selling cars, working at a network marketing business, and trying to sell real estate all at the same time. He thought he knew it all, until he realized he didn’t. That’s when he started seeking some better advice, and that’s when things started changing for Richard.
He found us online and knew his passion was to get back into real estate. He wanted to control and dictate the amount of money he can earn and leave a legacy behind for his family. Richard also credits his faith for helping him turn things around. When he first started with us, Richard sold just eight homes in his first year, but he’s well on his way to reaching his second-year goal of 25 sales in 2021. In five years, Richard hopes to be earning $500,000 per year through selling and investing in real estate. He’s already grown his business exponentially on our team, and the sky’s the limit for this former high-school dropout turned real estate superstar.
